We finally got some good news: the Merrimack is finally receding slightly and our management company has informed us that the 12 units they’ve inspected so far have been dry! No word our specific unit yet though, but encouraging news none the less. According to my new favorite site, the water only peaked at 58.84ft at 8pm Monday night. As of 9:30am Tuesday, it’s now at 57.75ft, so finally headed in the right direction! There’s still waist deep water in the parking lot and the water isn’t expected to drop to safe levels until tomorrow night or Thrusday. I’m not expecting that we’ll be in there anytime too soon, but at least we’re now hearing something positive.
