If you haven’t given the new NetBeans 5.0 beta a look yet, it’s time you did. This is prehaps the best version of NetBeans yet, and the first version of NetBeans that could actually convince folks to use NetBeans over Eclipse. Keep in mind that it’s still a beta and full of warts and wrinkles. The new GUI editor is simply fantastic! It is about as smooth as Apple’s Interface Builder and gives you a lot more control than you might think. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.

Uh, technically, yes, but that’s a little bit like using a jackhammer to remove mascara. Stick to XML for the toothbrushing, and XSL for the flossing.

Maybe YOU are getting awfully fancy. Simply fantastic! Will it brush my teeth, like XML?
